After all the shopping & the fabulous performances you’ll need to do some dancing I imagine, so our lovely friends Foxy Belles are putting on their fab Rockabilly Revival night, downstairs Esquires from 11pm…event details here
Emily & Sarah get creative!
As well as organizing fab stalls for you to come see at the bazaar we’ve been doing a spot of prop making again, after all the whole day does have a seaside theme!
Here we are working on a seaside style backdrop/mural for a photo booth at the evening event. This week drawing, next week painting, will post more pics soon…
In the spirit of all things beachy & vintage I wanted to share this amazing picture with you all.
Bizarre Bazaar We’re busy gearing up for the Bizarre Bazaar (23rd July) event here at Burlesque Towers and our minds have turned to all things vintage & beachy! Maybe it’s the hot weather or maybe it’s the fact the bazaar is part of the Esquires event BEACH BELLES BURLESQUE ALL DAYER!
Either way here’s some Beach Belles in all their vintage finery!
Tardis photo opportunity.
How about this, Burlesque goers will have the chance to pose with this fantastic Tardis prop on the night, I may even throw in some polystyrene boulders! so don’t forget your cameras earthlings. Big thanks to the talented Jimmy Mann, Andy Gray & Lawrence Juniper for creating this amazing piece of art!
Sci Fi photoshoot
Why waste a great photo opportunity right? After a bit of promoting in costume, we roped in the lovely Jez Brown Photography for an impromptu photoshot!!!!
See the results below… photoshop ninja’s Victoria Kahl & Tom Wild deserve credit for their handiwork too.
Sci Fi Promoting fun!
Well since the weather has been so fantastic recently myself (in the red Star Trek uniform) and 4th Time Around: Curiosity Shop owner Sarah, took to the streets to spread the word of Burlesque! I think we enjoyed it a little too much but I would like to believe that Bedford loved it too!
Sci Fi - So Hot!
What is not to love about Sci-fi? especially retro Sci-Fi. The ideals of the future make amazing costume and the more impractical the better!
Silver is a favourite colour in science fiction, and you can do so much with it!
Shiny Shoes and Happy People
This week my minions and I have been busy little bees making lots of props for the burlesque night on the 4th of December , check out the images below, I’d love to hear what you think :)
